Behind the Veil
Have you ever been in a room full of people and felt completely alone? We’ve all had that experience—where proximity doesn't equal connection. In this episode, we explore why the most valuable moments of our lives aren't found in what we possess or what we do, but in the power of Presence. Whether it’s sitting on a porch swing or playing cards at the kitchen table, "being with" someone is what wires our brains for worth and happiness. But for thousands of years, humanity lived with a "No Trespassing" sign between them and the ultimate presence of God. There was a veil—a 60-foot-tall, 4-inch-thick barricade—that kept us out.
Join us as we dive into the moment the ground shook and the temple curtain ripped from top to bottom. We discuss the "three stages" of the Christian walk: moving from the Outer Court (Knowledge), through the Holy Place (Action), and finally into the Holy of Holies (Presence). If you’ve been exhausted by "doing" church, it’s time to discover the God who went to great lengths just to sit on the porch with you.
